THE PATH

There is no fixedpath to enlightenment. Enlightenment is not a destination, a goal, the finalresting place at the end of a long journey—that’s the mind’s version ofenlightenment. Enlightenment is infinitely closer than anything you couldimagine.

This is very goodnews. It means that nobody is the authority on your path—no teacher, no guru,no religious leader. It means that nobody can tell you the right ‘way’ for you.It means that you cannot go wrong, even if you think you’ve gone wrong. Itmeans that nothing that happens can ever lead you off the path, for the path iswhatever happens.

Nothing can takeyou away from the miracle of life, or bring you closer to it for that matter,since the miracle is all around, already singing brightly, as every thought,sensation, image, feeling, smell, sound, and as the deeper miracle of the onewho is aware of all this, intimate with all this, present to all this.

Be the light ofawareness that you naturally are, enlightening the moment, whatever itscontents. Doubt, fear,  sadness, anger,intense confusion—maybe, just maybe, these are neither enemies nor blocks toenlightenment, but expressions of a deeper intelligence, the same in comprehensibly vast and awake intelligence that gives birth to stars andmoves the ocean tides and sends each and every living thing off on itsparadoxical journey towards its own being.

Shine your light onall that arises. Come out of the story of time and space and progressiontowards a future goal, and trust a scared moment. Take any moment. Any momentat all, for any moment is the access point. There are never any blocks—onlyportals.

You are not someseparate entity on a longe journey towards a future completion.

没有一条绝对通往开悟的道路。开悟不是个终点、目标、漫长的旅程之后最终的歇息之处—那是头脑认为的开悟版本。开悟比任何你能想象的东西还要更无尽地靠近你。

让觉知之光照见你的天性、觉照当下，不论当下的内容是什么。怀疑、害怕、悲伤、愤怒、困惑—或许，只是或许，这些都不是敌人或开悟的障碍，而是宇宙更深聪智的呈现。正如有个难以想象地广阔和觉醒智慧在让星辰诞生、在移动大海的潮流、在创造每个生命走上它通向本体的奇异道路。

觉知所有呈现的一切，走出时空的故事和对于未来目标的进度，信任一个神圣的当下。选一个当下，任何当下都可以，因为任何当下都是路径点。从来都没有障碍—只有通道。

你不是某个个体走在一条通往未来完整的路上。

你完全就是一首诗。
